Roses and gerberas continue to be popular choices for wedding flowers. Both are available in a wide array of colors, are easy to work with and can be used alone or combined with numerous other flowers. Shades of red combined with orange, coral and hot pink, often accented with lime green, and white combined with cream, are the two top choices. Hypericum, or coffeeberry, and Hanging Amaranthus are both available in lime green.  

     Stargzer lilies, top row, third picture,  are valued for their fragrance and intense color.    

     And in Texas,  sunflowers, including the variety "Ring of Fire," are used year round
